- Two Different Accounts with Different Email Addresses: If you’ve signed up with two different email addresses, or created multiple accounts by mistake, it’s possible you may be getting charged for each account separately.
- Sign Up via Email and Phone: If you signed up with your email address and then also subscribed through your phone (either via Apple App Store or Google Play Store), you might have two separate subscriptions, each charged individually.
- Subscription After Cancellation: If you’ve canceled your subscription but are still seeing charges, it could be because you have two accounts linked to different emails or payment methods. In some cases, someone else using your account might have accidentally restarted the subscription.
How to Resolve Unfamiliar Charges:
- Check your account status: Sign in to your Podimo account, go to your Membership settings, and ensure your subscription is properly canceled. You should receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is processed.
- Verify the account linked to your payment: Double-check the payment method used for each account (email vs. Apple/Google sign-ups) to make sure you're not being charged twice for different accounts.
- Recent Plan Changes: If you recently upgraded to a higher-priced plan, keep in mind that Podimo is a prepaid service. The new plan difference will be charged immediately, and you may notice a slightly earlier billing date, which could overlap with your previous charge. This is normal and helps balance out the costs.
