Supporting creators has been part of Podimo’s mission since the very beginning. Today, podcast creators can earn revenue with Podimo in 4 ways:
Pay-per-Stream: Every creator that has claimed their podcast on our platform can be part of our revenue-sharing program (the Podimo Monetization Program). Similar to the way that Spotify pays music artists on a per-stream basis, Podimo pays creators based on the number of streams they generate on our platform, at a competitive local market rate.
Affiliate Program: Podimo will pay a fixed fee when they bring new listeners to our platform. A unique affiliate link will be auto-generated for you once you’ve claimed your podcast in Podcaster Studio. You must use this link so we can accurately account for the new listeners that you bring to Podimo.
Podcast Advertising: You can earn money through advertisements placed within your podcast. These ads can range from full show sponsorships to specific placements which can be programmatically inserted to the beginning, middle or end of your podcast episodes. You can sell these ads yourself, but most creators use a podcast advertising network to do this for them.
If you’re already making money by selling ads within your podcast, those ads are retained and unchanged when streamed on Podimo.
Interested to start selling ads in your podcast? We can help with that. Podimo owns two podcast advertising networks: PodAds (in Denmark) and Dag en Nacht (in The Netherlands). Contact us here to learn more.
Talent Fees: We produce many podcasts ourselves, working with talents from different global markets in local languages. Some shows are exclusive to subscribers, and others are available publicly, across all podcast platforms. For these Podimo shows, we pay Creators a talent fee that is negotiated on a per-show basis.
