If you’d like to end your Premium or Premium Plus subscription, you have the option of either downgrading or canceling. For instructions on how to downgrade your subscription from Premium Plus to Premium, go here. To cancel and revert to Podimo Free, keep on reading.
Once you’ve canceled your subscription, your Premium subscription will be active for the remainder of the period you’ve paid for.
The cancellation process is different depending on how you signed up originally. Follow the steps below that correspond with your sign-up method:
I signed up via the website
Payments that are processed through our website need to be cancelled in the app or through our website.
In the app
Go to settings in the top-right corner
Scroll down to "Edit subscription"
Here you can see your subscription type
Press cancel
On the website
Go to podimo.com and log into your account
Click on 'My account' in the top right corner
Go to 'My membership' and press “Cancel subscription”
I signed up via the app
Payments that are processed through the app store (either Apple App Store or Google Play Store), need to be cancelled on your phone as well. Here’s how you do it:
Apple
- Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Click your name/Apple ID at the top
- Click Subscriptions and choose Podimo
- Select “Cancel subscription”
- Go to the Google Play Store app
- Tap the profile icon at the top right
- Click Payments & subscriptions
- Under Subscriptions, choose Podimo
- Select “Cancel subscription”
Can I keep listening after I cancel my subscription?
Once you’ve canceled your Premium/Premium Plus subscription, it will be active for the remainder of the period you’ve paid for. You can find the expiration date under ‘Manage membership’ in the Podimo app’s settings, or the membership area on our website.
After this period, you’re free to continue listening using Podimo Free as you please.

Am I locked into a contract with a Premium/Premium Plus subscription?
Nope! There is no lock-in period with any Podimo Premium subscription, you can cancel your subscription at any time. When you pay for a subscription, you pay for 30 days at a time — so if you cancel your subscription before your current subscription month is over, you’ll be able to use Podimo right up until the end of those 30 days. Refunds are unfortunately not an option for the remaining period.
